Transit

Thirteen transit agencies serve the Sacramento region. Whether you’re commuting from as close as East Sacramento, or as far away as Yuba City, Placerville, Stockton, or even San Francisco, there’s a train or a bus for you.  Select the transit routes in your area and zoom out to see routes from home to Downtown Sacramento. Employees who use transit to commute to work will receive a $50/ monthly subsidy starting May 2018.

Through the Commuter Spending Account, you have two options: Use the money you have elected to deduct from your paychecks to purchase transit passes directly or choose the WageWorks Commuter Card to pay for any transit costs. This card acts like a debit card and will have the money you have deducted loaded on it to use. For more information about these two options, visit www.wageworks.com/kp

Check out these transit agencies to learn if these options will help you.
